Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Location

Oro Valley, AZ | Emergency Department (Acute Care)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of Emergency Department patient care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Float to additional Emergency Department locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license (or compact license eligible for Arizona practice)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must be willing to float to sister Emergency Department locations in the area

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II Emergency Department setting
• Strong leadership and critical thinking skills in fast-paced emergency environments
• Prior travel nursing experience
