Restaurant Manager

An all-day neighborhood Italian restaurant with French and Egyptian accents, open every day from breakfast through dinner, Leon's is from the team behind beloved West Village staple, Anton's. We're currently growing our team, and looking for a motivated Front of House Manager with strong leadership intuition. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of full-service management experience, must possess strong leadership skills, be focused and able to prioritize abundant and varied responsibilities, as well as demonstrate poise and an overall willingness to contribute to supporting and continuously training all team members. Daily and weekly responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently work to foster and maintain a culture of confidence, generosity and empathy by ensuring a safe, clean and adequately equipped workplace and ongoing education and coaching.
• Lead all team members in offering genuine, informed, and intuitive hospitality experiences. 
• Engage with all managers and service team members to improve guest experience through thoughtful service actions.
• Assist the General Manager with finding, hiring and training FOH personnel.

This position requires morning/daytime availability. 

The following are requirements to be considered for the position:

• 2+ years leadership experience in similar environment
• Proficient understanding of restaurant systems and operations
• Proficiency with various tools, including Open Table, Resy, Toast (POS), Bentobox (website), Sling (scheduling), ADP (payroll) and various third party delivery apps
• Foundation in NY State and Federal HR standards and practices
• Fluency in English, with a basic understanding of Spanish preferred

• Annual salary ranging between $80k and $90k, based on experience
