Pay Range is $17 to $29 Depending on Experience!
Job Overview
As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating medium- to large-sized manual lathes to produce precision-machined parts. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring instruments, and maintaining high quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Duties
Set up and operate manual lathe machines.
Install tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to specifications.
Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings.
Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment.
Verify finished parts meet quality and dimensional requirements.
Safely load and unload materials using an overhead crane.
Experience
Experience operating manual lathes in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints.
Experience using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality inspections.
Ability to safely operate an overhead crane or willingness to learn.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
