Join Our Team as a Journeyman Structural Fitter

Are you an experienced Journeyman Structural Fitter looking for a dynamic and rewarding opportunity? Look no further than Unite Contracting Solutions in Norco, LA! The hours are 12 hours per day, 6 or 7 days a week.

Job Description

As a Journeyman Structural Fitter at Unite Contracting Solutions, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting structural metal products, such as framework or shells for machinery, ovens, tanks, stacks, and metal parts for buildings and bridges. You will interpret blueprints, specifications, and sketches to determine the sequence of operations, dimensions, and tolerances of finished work.

Our ideal candidate is a skilled professional with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. You should have a solid understanding of various welding techniques and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Structural Fitter
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
