Senior Environmental Biologist - Northern CA

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Environmental Biologist to join our team in Northern California. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive environmental assessments, including habitat evaluations and ecological impact studies. You will lead and participate in field surveys, collect and analyze biological data, and prepare technical reports to support environmental compliance and permitting processes. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement conservation strategies will be a key aspect of your role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of local ecosystems, regulatory frameworks, and environmental policies. Proficiency in GIS and statistical software for data analysis is essential. Additionally, you will mentor junior staff and contribute to project planning and management, ensuring that all work is conducted in accordance with environmental regulations and best practices. A Master's degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field, along with at least five years of relevant experience, is required.
