Responsibilities involved in cleaning and maintaining a classroom or other room used on a daily basis.1.1. Daily responsibilitiesClose all windowsStraighten deskDust mop the floorVacuum any carpeted area (district property)Dust the chalkboard(s) and chalk tray(s)Empty the trash can(s)Empty all pencil sharpeners1.2. Weekly responsibilitiesGive the room a general dusting (including but not limited to dusting doors, windows, bookshelves, cabinets, and heat registers)Remove all cobwebsWash classroom door glass1.3. Responsibilities on an as needed basisWash student desk topsReplace light bulbs in light fixturesRemove stains from carpeting (district property)Spot mop floorClean sink(s)1.4.
