Maintenance Manager

St Croix Linen is a locally owned commercial linen and facility services company serving businesses throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. Every day, our team processes thousands of pounds of restaurant linens, hotel linens, uniforms, healthcare textiles, towels, and bedding. We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and keep our 24/7 production facility operating at peak performance. This role oversees 8-10 maintenance technicians and is responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, leading preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting industrial laundry equipment, and driving continuous improvement throughout the facility. What You’ll Do Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8-10 maintenance technicians. Schedule daily maintenance activities and assign work priorities. Partner with Production leadership to minimize downtime. Build a culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Equipment & Maintenance Maximize uptime in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Respond quickly to equipment failures and emergency repairs. Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term solutions. JENSEN commercial laundry equipment Tunnel washers Industrial washers and dryers Industrial ironers Automatic feeders Automatic folders Conveyors and sorting systems Stackers and finishing equipment Boilers and steam systems Pumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and drive systems Technical Responsibilities Troubleshoot: Mechanical systems Electrical systems PLC-controlled equipment Hydraulic systems Pneumatic systems Steam systems Read electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Utilize a CMMS to manage: Preventive maintenance Work orders Parts inventory Manage maintenance budgets and vendor relationships. Lead equipment installations, capital projects, and facility improvements. Safety & Compliance Ensure OSHA compliance. Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Maintain a safe working environment for all employees. What We’re Looking For Required Experience 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing or another industrial environment. Experience supervising maintenance technicians. Ability to support a 24/7 operation, including occasional after-hours emergencies. Strong Knowledge Of Industrial electrical systems Mechanical systems Hydraulic systems Pneumatic systems Steam and boiler systems Motors, drives, pumps, bearings, and gearboxes HVAC and facility infrastructure CMMS software Electrical schematics and technical drawings Root-cause analysis and problem solving Highly Preferred Experience maintaining commercial laundry equipment, including: JENSEN equipment Tunnel washers Industrial washers and dryers Ironers Automatic feeders and folders Preferred Qualifications Commercial laundry or textile manufacturing experience Food manufacturing or other high-volume production experience Lean Manufacturing experience Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) OSHA 30 certification Boiler, electrical, or industrial maintenance certifications Why Join St Croix Linen?
