Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with professional standards and state Board of Nursing requirements. Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor changes in health status. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. Provide therapy and treatment that supports patient recovery, safety, and well-being. Monitor and evaluate treatment and therapy plans. Provide patient health teaching and counseling . Execute delegated medical functions within scope of practice. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other members of the care team. Make appropriate patient referrals for additional evaluation or treatment. Provide consultation, delegation, supervision, and education to other caregivers as appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Utilize available resources to support safe and effective patient care. Promote a patient-centered care environment and uphold professional service standards. Float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications when operational needs require. Participate in on-call responsibilities when required during a regularly scheduled shift. Perform other duties as assigned. ✅ Required Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. ASN/Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program. BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Previous RN experience preferred. Strong assessment, clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to provide safe, compassionate, and effective patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams. ⭐ Preferred Qualifications BSN preferred. ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP as applicable to the unit/service. Previous PACU, perioperative, critical care, or post-anesthesia nursing experience is highly desirable. Unit-specific certifications are a plus.
