Base pay range $43.50/hr - $48.00/hr Job – Medical Laboratory Scientist Location - Portland OR Duration 6 months – possible conversion Eligibility: U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, and Employment Authorization Document (EAD) holders are eligible to apply. Responsibilities Receive and process samples, run testing kits. May be responsible for maintenance, documentation QC. Hem, coag, urinalysis, molecular, roughly 1300 samples per day. Will work with a team. Fast paced, level 1 trauma and peds. 2nd – Generalist – doesn’t necessarily need blood bank; would be a plus. Position questions (as per original notes) Is this for a Medical Lab Technician (2 year MLT degree) or Medical Lab Scientist / Medical Technologist (4 year BS) or are you open to either? Qualifications Minimum 6-months of pertinent clinical laboratory testing experience is required. ASCP or AMT certification is preferred. Education/Certification Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology and meet regulatory (CAP, CLIA AND New York State) requirements for high-complexity testing. Minimum 6-months of pertinent clinical laboratory testing experience is required. ASCP or AMT certification is preferred.
