Job Description
Registered Nurse - Infusion

Schedule

10-hour day shifts, 4 days a week, with every third Saturday required. Specific dates of closure include major holidays.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience with chemotherapy administration required.
• ONS chemotherapy provider card and BLS-AHA certification required.
• Experience accessing and deaccessing IVADs and IV therapy.
• Experience with PICC lines and starting peripheral IVs.
• Familiarity with Alaris infusion pumps required.
• Epic experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and medical infusions.
• Perform blood transfusions.
• Use of Alaris and CADD pumps for home infusion therapy.
• Conduct phlebotomy and start peripheral IVs.
• Follow unit-specific procedures and protocols.
