Program Manager

Work Schedule: Hybrid, approximately 1 day onsite per week Duration: 12-Month Contract Overview Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Manager (Program Integrator) to support cross-functional medical device and combination product development programs from development through commercialization. The ideal candidate will excel at coordinating complex projects, driving alignment across diverse teams, managing project plans and timelines, and ensuring successful execution in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Candidates with experience in medical devices, combination products, engineering, quality, regulatory affairs, clinical development, manufacturing, or technical product development are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Support the planning, coordination, and execution of medical device and combination product development programs. Create, maintain, and update integrated project plans, schedules, milestone trackers, risk logs, and action item registers. Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution. Coordinate core team meetings and program reviews by preparing agendas, documenting decisions, tracking action items, and driving follow-up activities. Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate schedule or execution issues as needed. Develop and maintain project dashboards, status reports, presentations, and leadership updates. Support program readiness activities for design reviews, phase gate assessments, verification and validation activities, design transfer, and product launches. Track risks, issues, assumptions, and change requests to provide program visibility and support informed decision‑making. Coordinate selected activities with suppliers, external partners, and contract manufacturers as required. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to project management processes, reporting tools, templates, and team operating practices. Support compliance with applicable quality systems, design control requirements, and regulatory expectations. Required Skills Strong project planning, scheduling, and tracking experience. Ability to manage project timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and status reporting. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow‑through. Experience working in cross‑functional, matrixed organizations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities across diverse stakeholder groups. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting medical device, combination product, biotech, pharmaceutical, or other regulated product development programs. Knowledge of design controls, verification and validation (V&V), design transfer, quality systems, and regulatory processes. Experience coordinating global or large‑scale cross‑functional programs.
