Sr. Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

Sr. Maintenance Technician (Night Shift) Full-time Education: High School FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: United States-Florence Shift: 7:45pm to 8:00am. 12‑hour shift. Rotative schedule M/T/, F/S/S - W/T (shift differential). Hourly wage: $33.00 – $41.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Summary: The primary purpose of the Sr. Maintenance Technician is to ensure production and operations run safely at the most efficient level achievable, producing the highest possible production quality. Servicing and repairing complex equipment and complying with applicable regulations and the department’s safety program. Essential Functions: Performs troubleshooting and repair on electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment. Reads, analyzes, and interprets technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance. Checks and inspects assigned equipment during preventative maintenance and reports findings to management. Performs corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs. Ensures machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended downtime. Completes work orders and updates the maintenance tracking system. Responds quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury, including rectifying immediate dangers. Communicates existing and potential issues with group leaders and the maintenance manager. Education: Minimum high‑school diploma or GED and mechanical apprenticeship and/or vocational school/technology certificate in mechanic. Experience and Skills: Five (5) years of mechanical technical hands‑on experience. Ability to read and use schematics, gauges, tools, and instruments. Ability to use appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasks. Sound knowledge and experience in an industrial maintenance environment with repair and troubleshooting of machine issues and breakdowns, along with general maintenance. Experience welding with MIG and/or arc welder. Good working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, valves, cylinders, conveyors, etc. Forklift and scissor lift driving experience is preferred.
