As an Obstetrics RN, youll support mothers, babies, and families through labor, delivery, and the postpartum experience. This position is required to float to other nursing departments as necessary, to meet patient care needs. This position is located at Black River Memorial Hospital:/ppSHIFT: Night Shift Weekender - 72 hours per pay period with required holiday rotation BONUS: Full-time licensed Weekenders earn a 33% bonus on all weekend hours worked, paid each pay period! Anticipates changes in patient care needs./liliEvaluates patient assessments and responses to interventions and take appropriate action according to established standards./liliMaintains up-to-date knowledge and demonstrates competence with required registered nurse competencies. Has thorough knowledge of the various kinds of medications administered./liliAssess labor progression, and manages induction of labor and cervical ripening. Performs fetal heart monitoring, and neonatal assessments. Recognize and manages neonatal sepsis./liliCompetently manages obstetric medical emergencies (prolapsed cord, breech delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, precipitous delivery, uterine rupture, placental abruption)/li/ulpstrongEducational Qualifications:/strong/pulliAssociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required/liliBachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred/liliBLS certification required within 3 months of hire/liliACLS certification within 1 year of hire/liliNRP certification within 6 months of hire/liliCurrent licensed Wisconsin RN/liliElectronic Fetal monitor Certification with 2 years of hire/liliOB experience required/li/ulpYour future starts here.
