For more information click on our E-Verify Website. Overview The open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office, in the Office of the Secretary. This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves. Job Duties Assists the Department’s social media channels, to include Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Coordinates the graphic design needs for the Office’s recruitment efforts and takes the creative lead on working with vendors for external advertising. Develops formatting and graphic elements for internal communications and educational material for Department staff to ensure effective communication with the public. Schedules meetings, workshops, conference calls, and discussions to review issues and programs. Assists in the development of plans, presentations, studies and reports, such as FDC’s Annual Report. Maintains a system for tracking progress on projects to ensure deadlines are met. Assists in other duties as assigned to support the communications team. Additional Information Background Screening Requirement The Florida Department of Corrections requires all job applicants and volunteers to pass a Level2 background check as per Chapter435, Florida Statutes.
