Title of Position Research Assistant Position Number PN1210 FLSA Non-Exempt Scheduled Hours Per Week 25 Department Biology Campus Rose Hill Work Arrangement Onsite Hybrid Policy: Please review the Hybrid Policy at Position Summary Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Assistant will support ongoing laboratory research projects. Essential Functions Performs and assists in laboratory experiments investigating the cellular-molecular mechanisms of RPE -photoreceptor interactions. Conducts supervised animal experimentation. Responsibilities include strain maintenance, verification, husbandry, and in vivo assays. Works under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator to execute laboratory tasks. Management Responsibilities Not responsible for supervision or oversight of others. Required Qualifications: Education and Experience Bachelor of Science degree in Biology or a related field.
