Mechanical Design Engineer Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a direct hire position with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Pittsburgh PA.

Compensation: Up to $100000 per year W2

Position Overview:
This role focuses on providing comprehensive engineering services including the creation of models drawings and technical reports. The ideal candidate will utilize Creo Parametric for 3D/2D modeling and perform Finite Element Analysis using Ansys Workbench or Creo Simulate while also leading small engineering project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides engineering in form of models drawings feasibility studies technical reports design calculations etc. for assignments which have clear and specific objectives and require a limited number of variables
• Creates 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo Parametric
• Utilizes Ansys Workbench or Creo Simulate to perform Finite Element Analysis
• Leads and directs small engineering teams within the engineering department ensuring efficient and cost-effective engineering project execution
• Adheres to engineering budgets and deadlines
• Interfaces with individuals within or outside the engineering team (project managers supply chain etc.) as well as with customers and suppliers with responsibility for acting independently on technical project related matters
• Adheres to engineering and development policies practices standards and security measures to ensure effective and consistent operations within the engineering teams
• Support maintenance of project engineering schedules and milestones
• Ensures that engineering tasks are executed within budget in quality and in an economical manner

Primary Requirements:

• BSME or BSMET from an accredited engineering university
• Technical problem-solving and communication skills
• 5 years of engineering experience with emphasis on mechanical design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of engineering principles procedures and engineering standards (ASTM ASME AWS and DIN)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient 3D and 2D engineering software (Creo Parametric preferred)
• Good knowledge of Finite Element Analysis
• Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
