# Job Opportunity – Internal Medicine Physician (Hospitalist) – Regional Hospital Setting

**Start Date:** January 1, 2027

**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants
**Schedule:** 7 on / 7 off, day rounding shift 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with late call coverage 3-4 times per week

Highlights:

• Minimum 3-month locum tenens contract with potential for extension
• Day rounding position managing 21-25 patients per physician
• Average of 3-4 daily admissions and 1-2 consults per physician
• Approximately 300-bed facility with trauma center designation
• Open ICU model with intensivist team on-site for critical care management
• No procedures or vent management required
• Comprehensive orientation, EMR training, and shadow shift provided
• Late call coverage required from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM approximately 3-4 times weekly

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Current Internal Medicine residency training completion required
• Active and unrestricted medical license
• Case logs required for credentialing purposes
• Previous hospitalist or inpatient experience preferred
