Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon, Tue, Wed, Sun – 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted spaces, assisting with visitor direction, badge and credential checks, and other access control responsibilities in accordance with site policies. Support daily operations by reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and maintenance-related issues, and by following post orders and healthcare location protocols. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Required hospital vaccinations must be provided. Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
