Brake Press Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Base pay rate is $18.00 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential. Shift Hours : 2:00PM – 10:00PM. Hours may vary depending on operations. Duties and Responsibilities A Brake Press Machine Operator is a key member of our production team. The operator conducts changeovers to different angles and sizes to ensure parts are folded at the correct angles. Checking and visually inspecting produced parts against specifications to ensure a defect‑free product has been produced. Installing dies during tooling change and adjusting to specifications. Entering production quantities for each order into the computer system. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting other departments as needed. Qualifications Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment. Ability to operate a forklift. Ability to work independently and with others. High school diploma or GED. Ability to read a tape measure and protractor. Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively. Must be able to stand or walk approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift. Must tolerate extreme temperature changes in winter and summer months. Noise level is moderate to loud.
