The Industrial Mechanic Technician assembles machinery to enhance manufacturing operations and reliability. In this role, you’ll ensure the reliability and performance of automated and semi-automated machinery in a continuous production environment, while upholding Environmental Health, Safety (EHS), and Quality standards. This role collaborates with Production and Engineering to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement machine improvements.

A Shift: Sunday–Tuesday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (three 12-hour shifts), plus Wednesday, 7:00 AM–1:00 PM; Candidates must be available to work all scheduled hours, as well as overtime and holidays. 

The hourly range for this role is $32 - $36 per hour

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is part of the Maintenance Team located in Timonium, MD and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair to ensure optimal machine performance. (Includes mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.)

• Set up, calibrate, and test components and mechanical assemblies using various tools. Execute maintenance work orders and accurately document activities in the CMMS system.
• Collaborate daily with Maintenance, Facilities, Operations teams, and contractors to safely achieve production goals. 

The essential requirements of the job include: 

• High School diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of related maintenance experience. 
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read manuals, technical documents, blueprints, work instructions and troubleshooting guides. 
• The ability to work and communicate in a collaborative team environment. 

Physical/Environment Requirements: 

• Lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently and stand at machines for entire shift including reaching, bending, squatting and kneeling. 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

• Hazardous waste handling and electrical work.
• Injection molding and melt-blown processes.
