About the role Seeking a skilled Lead Penetration Tester to join a high-performing agile team supporting a large, complex technical program focused on cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and cyber incident response, with a strong background in web development and security tools. This role offers the opportunity to lead security efforts across enterprise-wide information systems and collaborate with technical staff and customers to enhance security posture. - Lead and perform internal and external penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Conduct web application penetration tests and vulnerability risk assessments.
- Perform physical penetration tests and social engineering exercises.
- Respond to cyber incidents as needed to support program security.
- Collaborate with technical staff and customers to develop security strategies and modernization plans.
- Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure the overall security of enterprise-wide information systems.

Education requirements Degree Bachelor Major Computer Science Job Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with FSP from NSA and a current FS polygraph within the last 6 years.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant penetration testing and cybersecurity experience.
- Proficiency in web development and programming languages, including Java, XML, Perl, and HTML
- Experience performing internal, external, web application, physical penetration tests, and social engineering.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, C, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Web Inspect, AppDetective, and Kali Linux.
- Experience with IPS/IDS solutions and understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain methodology.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities effectively.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with technical teams and customers.
