Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a skilled nursing team on the 2nd shift. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident health, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure residents receive exceptional care in a supportive long-term care environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor residents' conditions and communicate any changes to the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting comfort and dignity
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations, facility policies, and nursing standards

Qualifications:

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Iowa (required)
• Previous experience in senior living, long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing excellent resident care
