Step into the role

Begin your shift in Weatherford, TX (1st or 2nd shift options) and get right to work on precision fabrication. You’ll review prints, stage materials, set up your station, and lay clean beads using MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) across flat, vertical, and overhead positions. Expect a rhythm of build–inspect–refine, with overtime available when you want extra hours. Pay starts at $19–$22 per hour.

What your day looks like

• Set up welding equipment and choose the correct materials and consumables for each job.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders before every weld.
• Weld components using MIG and Stick processes in multiple positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
• Inspect welds to confirm they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on welding equipment.
• Keep your work area orderly; follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 2+ years of hands-on welding experience.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and shop safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail, steady hands, and solid manual dexterity.
• Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
