The Physical Therapist plays a vital role in delivering specialized care to all patients, focusing on improving their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the therapist utilizes a range of therapeutic equipment and technology, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) and telehealth platforms, to assess, treat, and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine treatment needs
• Develop customized treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Educate patients on injury prevention, therapy techniques, and home exercises
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EHR systems
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Handle and utilize therapeutic and diagnostic equipment safely

 

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
• State Physical Therapy License

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in physical therapy
• Expertise in patient assessment and treatment planning
• Proficiency in manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication and empathetic interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Efficient time management and record-keeping abilities
