Job Description

We are seeking an ETL Focused Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, Python, and ETL tools and a proven ability to design, build, and support data warehouse solutions that meet business and enterprise requirements .

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL processes to load and transform data for the data warehouse and data marts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Implement and optimize SQL code following sound coding practices and standards.
• Support orchestration and scheduling of data pipelines using tools such as Autosys or equivalent.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong SQL skills with knowledge of clean coding practices and ability to articulate design decisions.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle Exadata.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including data modeling, data marts, and business intelligence.
• Experience with ETL tools, preferably Informatica.
• Familiarity with Autosys or similar orchestration and scheduling tools.
• Interest in data problem-solving and designing transformation solutions using new and existing tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure or self-education in Unix scripting.
• Exposure or self-education in Python for data processing, including Pandas and DataFrames.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and practices such as Ansible and Jenkins.
• Exposure to Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Experience designing and building data warehouses with knowledge of end-to-end data flows.
• Willingness to learn and solve problems outside the current skill set.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
