About The Role: A well-respected plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in Broward County, Florida is seeking a motivated and skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing litigation team. The firm handles a broad range of plaintiff-side matters and offers a collaborative, results-driven environment where attorneys are given real responsibility and meaningful courtroom exposure. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury matters from intake through resolution, including settlement negotiations and trial. Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and demand packages. Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses. Develop and execute litigation strategy in collaboration with supervising attorneys and firm partners. Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel to achieve maximum recovery for clients. Appear in Florida state and federal court for hearings, case management conferences, mediations, and trials. Coordinate with medical providers, expert witnesses, and investigators. Maintain consistent, compassionate, and professional communication with clients throughout the litigation process. Monitor and manage case deadlines, court schedules, and statute of limitations. Qualifications: Active Florida Bar membership required J.D. from an accredited law school Admitted to practice in Broward County and Florida state courts; federal court admission a plus Strong legal writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and strict deadline compliance Genuine passion for plaintiff-side advocacy and client representation Proficiency in case management software and legal research platforms preferred Strong interpersonal and client communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Experience: Minimum 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience on the plaintiff side preferred Demonstrated experience handling motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, slip and fall, and/or catastrophic injury matters Experience managing cases from intake through trial preferred Deposition experience, both taking and defending, strongly preferred Experience with wrongful death claims a plus Prior experience in a plaintiff-side litigation environment strongly preferred Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus structure Comprehensive benefits package Supportive team environment with experienced mentorship Clear path for professional growth and advancement
