The Certified Nursing Assistant supports daily care, rehabilitation, and overall well-being of both ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients while maintaining a safe and clean living environment. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures Rehabilitation Support: Encourage and assist patients in prescribed rehabilitative and recreational activities Monitoring: Observe and report changes in patient condition to licensed nursing staff Documentation: Maintain accurate records in accordance with established policies Environment Maintenance: Ensure patient/resident living areas are clean, safe, and organized Collaboration: Work under the direction of registered nurses and physicians Compliance: Follow all established rules, regulations, and care procedures Work Environment: Setting: Hospital, infirmary, long-term care, or domiciliary care unit Supervision: Work performed under close supervision of licensed professionals Independence: Expected to perform routine duties independently after training Minimum Qualifications: Experience: Six (6) months experience as an Aide Trainee , OR One (1) year of paid experience in care of geriatric or physically ill patients/residents Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Certification: Must be registered and certified as a Nurse Aide (for Long-Term Care assignments) Technical Skills: Basic computer skills , including Microsoft Office Additional Requirements: Verification: Some assignment details, education, and license requirements must be confirmed with an Account Manager Training: Participation in on-the-job and in-service training required Physical Requirements: Ability to assist with lifting, moving, and supporting patients Patient Interaction: Daily direct contact with patients/residents Required Skills & Competencies: Patient Care Skills: Ability to provide compassionate, hands-on care Communication: Ability to follow instructions and report patient updates clearly Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in care and documentation Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams Time Management: Handle multiple patient care tasks efficiently Adaptability: Work in fast-paced healthcare environments Benefits: ⦁ Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. ⦁ A 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service.
