Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Family Medicine

As a Locum MD in Family Medicine, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services. You'll collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and contribute to our mission of providing exemplary medical care in the community.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages in a family medicine capacity
• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Arizona
• Experience in Family Medicine or a related field
• Strong clinical skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to maintaining up-to-date medical knowledge and best practices
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p), or 4x 10-hour shifts

No call requirement

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Volume: 12-14 per day

Duties: Comprehensive outpatient primary care

Must be board-certified

Additional Certifications: AHA, ACLS, BLS, and DEA
