Position Description
The DBA Lead manages Oracle database environments supporting FMS-NG, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This role supports database operations across production, test, and DR environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- 10+ years of database administration experience
- Strong Oracle DB and AWS experience
- Expertise in performance tuning and backup/recovery
- Oracle DBA certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer Oracle databases (12c/19c) in AWS environments
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations (RMAN)
- Manage database patching and upgrades
- Monitor and optimize performance
- Ensure database security and compliance
- Support system monitoring and issue resolution
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams
