AI Engineer

An education employer in the Kay, Texas area is looking for an AI Automation Engineer to join their team. This is a brand new team that they plan to build out. This person will work directly under a director and the CIO. On a daily basis, they will be assigned various projects to complete. These projects will be for their Automation Workflow management platforms, AI voice agent platforms and AI prompt engineering. They will be responsible for tweaking workflows and automating tasks for each platform. The platforms are already identified and will now need to be integrated into the existing systems through APIs. This person will sit onsite 5 days a week. This position pays between $45-55/hr based on skillset and past experience.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ year of experience working within AI

Experience working with workflow automation management platforms to automate tasks (Make.com and n8n preferred but open to any)

Experience automating tasks for AI Voice Platforms (Retell AI , Vapi, ElevenLabs preferred but open to any)

Experience with AI Prompt Engineering

Know how API's and MCP's work

Python scripting experience

Career in IT


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Certifications

PowerShell scripting experience

Understanding on JavaScript and HTML

Degree in AI field

LLM or RAG modeling experience
