The Order Entry Specialist Responsible for providing superior service that meets or exceeds all internal and external customer needs. Owns order entry and management process for associated technology.

Responsibilities:

• Meet attendance and production standards and follow all MCC policies and procedures.
• Serves as a resource for order entry needs of the CS department.
• Enters daily customer purchase orders into the ERP system from a variety of sources: fax, e-mail, or on-line portals.
• Provides accurate and complete information to internal customers.
• Assists with entry of inventory release requests.
• Gives backup order entry/file assistance support to others when in need.
• Inputs interplant POs into approved facilities.
• Maintain and organize required customer/order information for future reference as requested by CSR.
• Assists with special projects related to customer/item data management.
• File daily/weekly reporting.
• Assists with driving greater EDI compliance in the order entry process through customer set up and coaching as well as ensuring clean master data between customer and MCC systems as it relates to the order entry process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Demonstrate the ability to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or the equivalent. Ability to learn business information systems. Use information system to generate and analyze customer plant data. Experience with ERP manufacturing systems is desired, but not necessarily required.
• Articulate, clear, persuasive, and passionate in the spoken and written word.
• Business and relevant industry experience. Exhibit professionalism and respect at all times with customer and all levels of management.
• Utilize customer and production information resulting in rational, logical, fact-driven problem solving. Decisions made in the best interest of the customer and the Company.
• Advanced Math; Analytics expertise desired
