• Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 7 on / 7 off (pressing need for nocturnists)

• Employment Type: Per diem or contract staffing
• Licensure & Certifications: NC Medical License, BLS, ACLS, DEA required; BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred
• Experience: No minimum, but experienced hospitalists preferred

What You’ll Do

• Provide overnight inpatient care as part of the hospitalist team at a leading facility in Greensboro
• Manage patient admissions, rounding, and discharges for an average census of 15-18 patients
• Collaborate with support staff and ER teams for smooth patient flow
• Document care using EPIC EMR system (preferred experience)
• Follow all hospital protocols and ensure compliance with licensure and certification requirements
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives during your shift

What You Need

• Valid North Carolina medical license with NCMB eligibility
• DEA certification and valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• At least 7 years of experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts consistently and reliably
