Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) Experience: 24 months of current operating room experience License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate at time of submission Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - 24 months of current operating room experience - Experience in circulating and scrub roles - Experience with general, davinci robotics, pediatrics, and trauma cases - EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 3 years - Trauma Level II experience - No first-time travelers; must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room specialty. This position requires the ability to work days, specifically Monday through Friday. The shift will consist of 10 hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care in an operating room setting. The average caseload is between 35 to 50 cases per day. Turnover times are expected to be less than 20 minutes. The nurse may be required to float across multiple campuses. An emphasis on trauma and robotics experience is preferred. Candidates should possess strong skills in both circulating and scrubbing. Holidays and call availability are part of the role requirements. The working environment includes a level 1 trauma center and various service lines.
