Williams, Inc., serving customers via a DSD model. WilFoods, LLC, our sister company, offers a comprehensive selection of proprietary grab‑n‑go products, with custom label availability. Position Summary The Operations Manager role is designed for those with a proven track record in guiding teams towards operational excellence. With a focus on developing talent, enhancing time management and organizational skills, and fostering a safety‑first culture, this position demands a leader adept at analytical thinking, proactive problem‑solving, and implementing effective change. Responsibilities Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost‑effective way Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant Formulate strategic and operational objectives Examine financial data and use it to improve profitability Manage budgets and forecasts Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs Recruit, train and supervise staff Find ways to increase the quality of customer service Receiving matches vendor invoices Communicates with vendors/buyers with delivery issues Sales support for reps and managers Customer support with chain customers and stores (NE) Account set up Price book set up, maintenance and communication for new items Special pricing for cost and retails Monthly inventory review of dead products Weekly inventory review for transfers from warehouse 1 and warehouse 2 (NE) Seasonal promotion building and shipment to sales reps (NE) Customer booking distribution to sales reps (NE) Back up support for anything needed Supporting IT with programming and testing needs (NE) Velocitor Other duties as assigned by management. Education, Experience and Skills Required Proven work experience as an operations manager or similar role Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management Experience budgeting and forecasting Familiarity with business and financial principles Excellent communication skills Leadership ability Outstanding organizational skills Physical Requirements, Working Conditions, and Travel Requirements Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to push up to 25 pounds. Must be able to pull up to 35 pounds. Sitting for long periods, general bending and twisting are associated with lifting.
