This employment will begin July 27, 2026 for the FY2026-2027 Metro Schools Schedule. Salary is based on proof of highest education per below:

• Associate $56,236.00
• Bachelor $57,966.00
• Master $59,607.00

Typical Duties

• Provides nursing services in Metro Nashville/Davidson County Schools.
• Evaluates the health needs of students attending assigned schools.
• Provides or arranges for selected screenings and assessments.
• Provides care coordination/case management.
• Provides generalized health services.
• Implements medication distribution system.
• Maintains student health records.
• Performs related duties.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

6 months experience as a

Full-time, Civil Service positions - 10 Vacation Days per year (increasing after 5 years of service) 1 Sick Day per month 12 Paid Holidays per year Public Safety - Sworn and Civilian positions - 20 vacation days per year 3 Personal days per year 1 Sick Day per month 12 paid holidays per year Part-time, Non Civil Service positions - Visit HR and Benefits webpages for more information.
