A growing electrical contracting company in Lakeland, Florida is looking to hire a couple of Electrical Service Technicians.

This is a hands-on, varied role at the front line of a busy and expanding operation — ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, communicates well, and thrives when no two days look the same.

Key Responsibilities

· Generate additional work by identifying legitimate safety issues and upgrade opportunities.

· Build customer trust through professionalism and communication.

· Maintain high first-time fixed rates.

· Keep callbacks to a minimum.

· Meet productivity and revenue goals.

· Mentor apprentices when assigned.

· Troubleshoot electrical problems (tripped breakers, outlets not working, flickering lights, etc.)

· Repair or replace breakers, panels, switches, receptacles, and light fixtures.

· Install ceiling fans, EV chargers, surge protectors, generators, and other electrical equipment.

· Diagnose and repair wiring faults.

· Perform service upgrades and panel replacements.

· Inspect electrical systems for safety and code compliance.

· Explain problems and repair options to customers.

· Prepare estimates and invoices.

· Maintain a stocked service van with tools and materials.

· Respond to emergency service calls and after-hours calls when scheduled.

· Document completed work with photos and notes.

· Follow all safety procedures and electrical codes.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 Years Construction Electrical Experience Required. Prior Residential Electrical Construction a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Clear, professional communication skills — both written and verbal
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
