Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic procedures, and developing customized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies prescribed under your licensure
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic condition management

• Meticulously documenting information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Credentials Required

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Oregon
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to secure within 90 days)
