In this role, you will work primarily from the comfort of your home while delivering critical mental health support to clients in Forney, Texas. Our organization operates daily from 7 AM to 10 PM, enabling you to have flexibility over your working hours. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and formulate individualized treatment plans that empower clients in their recovery journey.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote healing and resilience.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment where patients can openly process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate seamlessly with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, thereby empowering them with knowledge and coping strategies.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring client privacy.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about advances in trauma therapy and participate actively in the evolution of treatment strategies within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Banyan Recovery, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with various trauma-related disorders. Our clients often seek assistance with their trauma experiences and how those experiences manifest in their daily lives. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPC in the state of Texas.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, ideally within a similar treatment setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Banyan Recovery offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, complemented by a guaranteed pay structure, annual increases, and bonus opportunities. Additional benefits include:
