Resident Field Service Mechanic (Heavy Equipment) – Dallas, TX
$35–$45/hr + Overtime + Company Service Truck

If you’re a hands-on mechanic who’d rather be out in the field working on big equipment instead of stuck inside, this is worth a look.
We’re hiring a Resident Field Service Mechanic in the Dallas area to work on large industrial grinding and chipping equipment. This is real heavy-duty work — hydraulics, electrical, and troubleshooting on machines that actually test your skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial heavy equipment on-site
- Work with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Travel to customer locations (some overnight, occasional international)
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
- Communicate directly with customers — no middle layers
What You’ll Get
- $35–$45/hour (based on experience)

Schedule
- Monday–Friday (day shift)
- Travel required (regional + occasional international)
What They’re Looking For
- Experience in heavy equipment, diesel, ag, or similar industries
- Strong skills in hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- CDL B preferred (or willingness to get it)
- Valid driver’s license & ability to travel (passport is a plus)
Equipment You’ll Work On
- Large-scale industrial grinders & chippers
- Powered by Caterpillar engines (minimal engine teardown work)
