Make a meaningful impact supporting high school students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic onsite setting. This full-time contract role offers the chance to connect with students and educators, working collaboratively to address a range of academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. Qualifications and Experience:
- State of South Carolina School Psychologist license is required
- Demonstrated experience providing assessments, counseling, and consultation in educational settings preferred
- Strong background in psychological and academic testing, report writing, and data-driven interventions
- Understanding of evidence-based practices and current trends in school psychology
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
- Knowledge of relevant state and district protocols is essential
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for high school students
- Participate in eligibility meetings, individualized education plan (IEP) development, and student support teams
- Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Support positive behavioral interventions and the implementation of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with school and state regulations
