Security Lobby Officer
The ideal candidate is required to greet employees and customers with excellent customer service skills while enforcing client policy, safeguarding employees and guests with emergency notifications, and protecting assets and property from theft or damage.
Essential Functions:
- Assists with emergency response to site fires, chemical spills, medical emergencies, etc.
- Provides customer service to visitors and guests in accordance with company established standards and expectations.
- Answers telephone calls, takes messages, answer questions, and provide information during business and non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.
- Assist with registering visitors with the correct visit type using client software applications or documentation.
- Signing, logging in, and notifying recipients of any deliveries from outside vendors or couriers.
- Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized people, or unusual occurrences. Excellent writing skills are essential.
- Monitors packages and product movement from the lobby post to ensure proper documentation and approval signatures are confirmed.
- Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other people. Maintain security/safety of premises.
- May be requested to perform other security-related duties as needed within post orders.
- Answers requests for and issues temporary badges. Checks in visitors of the Visitor Management System (VMS).
- Possess strong computer skills especially with the Microsoft Suite of applications, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.

- Uses proper body mechanics while performing duties.
- Remain alert and aware of the surroundings.
- Able to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.
- Respond safely but quickly to all emergency response incidents
- Possess professional and empathetic abilities in dealing with employees and their questions.
- Demonstrate ability to work with others and interact appropriately.
- Maintains communication with other personnel. Relates information regarding events or situations that may affect operations.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Must be flexible to work scheduled and non/scheduled hours as required.
- Able to safely lift up-to and include 30 lbs.
- Communicate effectively to assist employees and customers
- Demonstrate customer service skills.
This position reports to Joe Bartko. Travel is required. The following screenings are required: Employment Verification, Criminal Background Check, Motor Vehicle, Drug Screen. The following shifts are available: Day shift, Weekend shift.
