Job Description
MRI Technologist Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Job Description We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MRI and hold an active ARRT-MR certification along with a New York state license. The position involves conducting MRI scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations on patients as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
- Assist in preparing patients for MRI scans and explaining procedures.
- Maintain equipment and ensure optimal functioning.
- Administer contrast media as per protocols.
- Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system (EPIC).
- ARRT Certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) required.
- Active New York State License required.
- BLS Certification required.
- Minimum of $1.25 per hour for parking.
- Flu vaccine required, with no exceptions or exemptions.
- Experience in Phillips MRI systems preferred.
