Job Title

Cardiac OR – Circulate Only – Registered Nurse (CVOR)

Location

New York, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Independently circulate complex adult cardiac surgical cases including CABGs, structural heart cases (e.g., Bentall), and minimally invasive procedures (e.g., Mini Aortic Valve Replacement)
• Provide circulating RN support for heart failure cases involving devices such as Impella, VADs, ECMO, and Artificial Heart
• Care for a wide variety of adult cardiac patients using a multidisciplinary team approach
• Monitor and respond to telemetry as required within the cardiac OR setting
• Support TAVIs/TAVRs and transplant cases as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (NY License required)
• Minimum of two (2) years of registered nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to independently circulate in the operating room
• Telemetry competency
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center
• TAVI/TAVR experience
• Cardiac transplant experience
