ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The position requires travel to various locations within the region as needed.Shift DetailsShift Type: NightsShift Length: 12 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekWeekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts minimum in a 4-week periodHolidays: Rotate in with core staff; must be available to work during major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year'sUnit InformationUnit Type: ICU (Intensive Care Unit)Number of Beds: 12Patient Ratios: 1:1-2Common Diagnoses: Medical/Surgical ICU, including non-STEMIs, CVA, MOF, Sepsis, respiratory failure, and post-op complicationsQualificationsYears of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an ICU settingRequired Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSSEMR: CernerTelemetry Skills: Must be able to read and interpret EKG stripsVentilator Management: Required experienceAdditional InformationOrientation: 1-2 days on the floor with a preceptorSelf-Scheduling: Available, but finalized based on managerial inputFloating: Potential to float to other facilities within the region, though mid-shift floats are rareTeam Support: Access to a Hospitalist or Intensivist in-house, as well as 24/7 support from RT and PharmacyAdditional Notes: Multidisciplinary rounds are conducted during day shiftsIf you are a compassionate and skilled ICU Registered Nurse, we encourage you to apply and be a part of our dynamic healthcare team.Client Details City Sacramento State CA
