Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite)

Hire Type: Contract

Job Description :

Here are the specific skills we are looking for if we can focus in on these. A candidate should be able to explain in detail how they have used the various technologies below to deliver on specific business requirements/capabilities.

Also, have a background in financial services, especially brokerage, is a plus.

Programming: Python(mandatory), SQL (mandatory), Java/Scala (nice to have)
Databases: Oracle (mandatory), SQL server (mandatory), Snowflake (nice to have), PostgreSQL (nice to have),
ETL/Data Tools: Pyspark (mandatory) , Informatica (nice to have)
Cloud Platforms: AWS (mandatory)
- AWS Skills :
- Mandatory: S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, EMR serverless, Step Functions, Athena, EC2, Cloud Formation Template, SNS Topic
- Optional: Glue ETL, Kinesis Datastream, Kinesis Firehose
AI tools (optional): AWS Bedrock, AWS Bedrock Agent Core, Kiro, Github Copilot
Build/Deployment: Jenkins (optional), CI/CD pipeline (optional)
Other (optional): TWS, Tidal, ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Kinesis, Data
