Job Title: Compounder - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Compounder to join our team on the 2nd shift, responsible for spray drying. The role involves accurately measuring and mixing various ingredients, including retrieving and identifying ingredients, as well as melting solids using hot plates.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and accurately measure ingredients using scales.

• Mix various ingredients and identify ingredients that require dilution, followed by appropriate dilution and documentation of raw materials usage.

• Maintain quality standards by verifying weight and contents of raw materials, conducting in-process batch inspections, and documenting all process events while adhering to procedures and policies.

• Process liquids, powders, and employ homogenizing and spray dry methods of compounding.

• Follow standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes and other substances into equipment.

• Check for consistency in various batches and measure the viscosity of mixtures. Take samples of the batch and submit them to the laboratory for testing.

• Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure accurate documentation of completed work.

• Wear a uniform and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57200.00 - $57200.00/yr.
