This role blends clinical expertise, patient education, and teamwork to support providers and ensure a positive experience for every patient.The Clinical Nurse position is designed to encompass a broad range of nursing and clinical support functions, making it ideal for adaptable, patient-focused professionals who thrive in collaborative settings.What You’ll DoGreet patients warmly and collect accurate health histories, vitals, and other relevant clinical information.Support providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments to ensure smooth clinical flow.Administer medications safely and accurately under provider orders, with thorough documentation.Perform in-house clinical and laboratory testing in compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and infection control standards.Collect, label, process, and document patient specimens with precision and care.Conduct occupational health services such as drug screens, DOT and non-DOT physicals, respirator fit testing, spirometry, audiograms, and other screenings (training provided as needed).Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms; ensure medical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.Assist with referrals, pre-certifications, and prior authorizations to support continuity of care.Accurately document all patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Promote a culture of safety by following established protocols and helping reduce clinical risk.Collaborate with teammates across roles and step in to support clinic operations as needed.Other DutiesThis job description outlines the primary responsibilities of the role, but flexibility is key in a team environment.
