Panera Bread: General Manager Position located in Plymouth, MN . Responsibilities Own all aspects of leading the bakery‑cafe team, including staffing planning, scheduling, people development, career development, performance management, training, and succession planning. Hire, onboard, and train new team members while motivating, energizing, engaging, inspiring, and celebrating the team. Manage team performance to ensure bakery‑cafe goals, operational and quality standards, and extraordinary guest service expectations are met. Develop managers into subject‑matter experts on people processes and Panera’s Guiding Values & Behaviors. Follow operational procedures to successfully execute company strategies and initiatives. Ensure guests are delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff. Build engaging relationships that foster long‑term loyal guests. Enforce company policies, compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and maintain a healthy, safe workplace. Maintain overall cost control and inventory management. Cultivate a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust. Qualifications Minimum age 18 years. 3+ years restaurant General Manager experience preferred. ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain). Strong business acumen and proven ability to drive positive results. Excellent shift management skills, including directing, motivating, coaching, and developing others in a fast‑paced environment. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Physical ability to lift 25 pounds, stand and walk for up to 6 hours, and communicate effectively in a loud environment. Ambassador of Panera’s Guiding Values and Behaviors.
