Work Environment

This full-time position allows for a remote work setting, promoting a healthy work-life balance and offering flexibility in your schedule. While the majority of your duties will be carried out virtually, you will be part of a thriving outpatient office that emphasizes collaboration and teamwork among mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized therapy strategies that meet unique client needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, catering to a diverse clientele.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
  • Engage in teamwork with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic care and coordinated treatment plans for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities such as workshops and training sessions to remain updated on the latest developments in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Antelope Behavioral Health aims to serve a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those dealing with severe mental health disorders, trauma, substance use issues, and family dynamics. As an LPC, your expertise will directly contribute to improving the lives of clients who depend on our services for guidance and support.

Qualifications

  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling environment, demonstrating a strong clinical foundation.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience working with diverse populations and in outpatient settings will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
