Assistant Press Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Assistant Press Operators for a company based in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career with a leading global manufacturer of specialty materials including absorbent hygiene products.

Pay Rate

$20.50 per hour

Schedule and Hours

2nd Shift – 12:45PM – 9PM

3rd Shift – 8:45PM – 5AM

Monday through Friday with some Saturdays required. Will eventually move to a block schedule so must be flexible.

Assistant Press Operator Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist in the set-up and operation of the press while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and work within the safety guidelines
• Ensure all finished products are within customer specifications
• Complete safety orientation and forklift certification training
• Fill out SOC sheets and understand / work with MSDS sheets

Assistant Press Operator Qualifications and Requirements :

• Previous experience in manufacturing is required
• Ability to read and interpret work order sheets and identify materials by part numbers
• Ability to stand and walk for a 12-hour shift including climbing stairs
• Ability to wear PPE including steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection hair / beard nets
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs with ease
• Drug screen and criminal background check required
